Renewal of vows of Good Shepherd Sisters
Submitted by regina on Tue, 03/14/2017 - 03:19Three temporary professed sisters made their renewal of vows at the the Good Shepherd Chapel during a Eucharistic celebration on March 13,2017.
Sr. Annie Kyin Hponex, Sr. Christine Ange and Sr. Elizabeth Joseph of Myanmar, the Province of East Asia, have been in the Philippines since May last year for theological studies.

It was on January 16, 1835 that Pope Gregory XVI approved the establishment of the Generalateof Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd also known as Religious of the Good Shepherd (RGS) or Good Shepherd Sisters, with St. Mary Euphrasia as foundress and first superior general.

building in Private Road Cebu City during the first Family Day of GS-HEART
(Good Shepherd-Holistic and Empowering Aftercare towards Reintegration and
Transformation), a pioneering Aftercare Program for survivors of prostitution
and trafficking of the Good Shepherd Sisters in the Philippine Province.
