The Religious of the Good Shepherd, composed of apostolic and contemplative sisters, celebrated the 74th anniversary of canonization of St. Mary Euphrasia on May 2, 2014.
Masses were held in the different communities worldwide.

Good Shepherd Sisters, apostolic and contemplative, attend the retreat on "Mission and Interculturality" facilitated by Fr. Antonio Pernia SVD.
Being held at Maryridge, Tagaytay City, the retreat will run from April 26-May 2, 2014.
Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II canonized on April 27, Divine Mercy Sunday

Two popes, Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II will be canonized today, April 27 at St. Peter's Square, Vatican City by Pope Francis. Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI is also expected to attend the ceremonies.
Renewal of vows of temporary professed sisters

Temporary professed sisters -- Sr. M. Clara Lina Loilo of the Philippines and Sr. Philomene Thiaw of Senegal renewed their vows on April 23 before Sr. Cecilia Torres, province leader of the Philippines.
The rites were held at the Good Shepherd Chapel during the Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Bobby Buenconsejo SJ.
