Twenty-three Good Shepherd Sisters, apostolic and contemplative, participated in a Vintage Journey session held in Maryridge, Tagaytay City from February 6-8, 2011.
Facilitator of the session was Fr. Arnulfo Bugtas Jr of the Society of Jesus. Fr. Jun is currently in charge of the Spiritual Pastoral Formation Year program at San Jose Seminary. He is also a formator at Sacred Heart Novitiate.

Sr. Patricia Perez RGS, member of the Province Leadership Team and link councillor for Formation, said that the sisters who joined the session belonged to the groups that made their first profession of vows from 1967-1969 and from 1970-1974.
She said that individual and group reflections led the participants to express themselves during sharing and through the art work that they made. The Vintage Journey traced the call of the sisters from the day they left their families to enter the Religious of the Good Shepherd, to the discoveries of talents, experiences as religious and the breakthroughs encountered in giving themselves to God and the mission, up to the present challenges faced as one grows older in religious life.
VINTAGE JOURNEY |
You are invited to return to the paths of your initial calling, to encounter again the events that led you to go beyond and walk farther. It is about engaging in conversation with these sacred moments, and rediscovering your response to the call. Would you understand where you are now? To a greater knowledge of myself. I dare to tread the journey inward. |
