Commencement Excercises for St. Bridget schools held

It’s the time of the year when commencement exercises are being held in various parts of the country. Our own St. Bridget schools – St. Bridget College in Batangas City, St. Bridget School Buhi, Camarines Sur and St. Bridget School in Quezon City have scheduled the commencement exercises this March 2012.

First to hold the commencement  exercises is the Elementary Department of St. Bridget School in Quezon City. The 46th  Commencement Exercises was held March 23 at 9 a.m. at the Divine Child Students’ Hall in Quezon City.

The High School Department’s schedule is March 24, also at 9 a.m.

In both occasions, Sr. Catalina Santos RGS, directress of SBS-QC said the theme was taken from the Good Shepherd Centennial’s, “Weaving Compassion, Embracing Challenges, Forging Hope.”

The Centennial Prayer, “Forging Hope”, was also read by the graduates.

Thanksgiving Masses were also integrated in the Commencement Exercises. Fr. Anthony Ynzon, SVD and Fr. Guillermo Villegas SVD were the presiders of the Eucharistic celebrations for elementary and high school, respectively.

During the graduation ceremonies, the graduating students were presented and their diplomas distributed. Scholastic and special awards, special citation and recognition were also given.

A total of 125 elementary students and and 139 high school students graduated from St. Bridget School in Quezon City this school year 2011-2012.

Schedule of commencement exercises for St. Bridget College- Batangas is March 27 and St. Bridget School- Buhi is March 28 at 8 a.m.
