Good Shepherd Sisters, teachers, lay mission partners, benefactors, alumnae/alumni of St. Bridget College gathered July 31 in Batangas City to begin the regional celebrations in preparation for the 2012 Centennial.
Students welcomed guests with drums and delighted the audience with band music and performances. The celebration at the auditorium began with a Mass presided by Most Rev. Ramon Arguelles, archbishop of Lipa, and alumnus of SBC grade school. Priests from various parishes in the archdiocese also joined the celebrations. Fr. Ron Bagley CJM also came for the occasion.
The highlight of the occasion was the arrival of the shepherd staff that will begin the Journey of the Shepherd in the different regions in the country as the communities prepare for the 2012 Centennial.
Good Shepherd Sisters, representing the different communities in the Philippines, Sisters from other countries who are here for studies, and Filipinas in foreign mission came to celebrate.
