November 30 is the feast of St. Andrew the Apostle. It is also the birthday of Andres Bonifacio, one of the many Filipino Heroes.
The Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines (AMRSP), together with the the Franciscan Justice Peace and Integrity of Creation, Franciscan Solidarity Movement for Justice and Peace and Integrity of Creation will hold a Mass at the Divine Child Chapel at La Salle Greenhills on November 30 at 1:30 p.m.
After the Mass, members from the religious congregations of men and women will march towards the People Power Monument in Solidarity with those who are against the burial of former president Ferdianand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani last November 18.
Other groups will include Simbahan ng Lingkod ng Bayan that will gather at the Ateneo de Manila Unversity and will mark towards the People Power Monument.
Communities will gather at the People Power Monument, and all are to be in solidarity and pray for fine weather.
Meanwhile, the Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation will honor on Nov 30, 19 new heroes who fought the Marcos regime. Among the new heroes is journalist and editor in chief of Philippie Daily Inquirer Letty Jimenez Magsanoc.
Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation has honored men and women from various walks of life including five members of the Religious of the Good Shepherd.
