MMTDFI assistance to frontliners in hospitals, checkpoints and LGUs | Religious of the Good Shepherd

Mountain Maid Training and Development Foundation, Inc.
(MMTDF) run by the Religious of the Good Shepherd donated ube jam and chocolate
crinkles to frontliners in hospitals, check points and local government offices in
Baguio City and other municipalities and cities in the Cordillera.

Sr. M. Guadalupe RGS received messages of gratitude
from frontliners. Former students have expressed that the frontliners must be
delighted to receive the food items.

Sr. M. Cecilia Torres, local
leader of Baguio, also responded to the need for assistance of frontliners by
sending ube jam and cookies to medical frontliners in Metro Manila, among them
at Quirino Memorial Medical Center, East Avenue Medical Center, Lung Center,
Philippine Heart Center, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, and Amang
Rodriguez Medical Center.

Since the lockdown, the Good Shepherd Sisters, like other groups in Baguio, were asked to stop production and to close shop. The sisters though, continue to house and feed the students staying in the residence

Also, with the travel and work restrictions, sisters could not buy the strawberries from the farmers. The sisters continue to pray for an end to the pandemic COVID-19, for the safety of all especially the frontliners, and for the families and victims of this disease.
