Women.  The theme chosen was:  “Magbunyi . . . magsaya .

Caritas Manila.

Booths were put up in the garden, selling IGP products plus rummage sale of
collected “white elephants.”

A filipina OFW, Mary Jane Veloso, scheduled to be executed tomorrow was
the focus of our prayers and concern.
After
the Mass, Sister Maureen Catabian asked everyone present to sign a petition to
reconsider the execution of Mary Jane. Then at 6 p.m. everyone was invited
to a candle lighting ceremony, a symbolic way of appealing to spare the life of
Mary Jane, held at 1043’s front gate.
The
whole filipino nation was praying for a miracle to save her.
