Three contemplative sisters celebrated their silver and golden jubilees on October 7, feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Sr. Ma. Elena Jalop of the contemplative community in Cebu and Sr. Celeste Engutan of the contemplatives in Tagaytay mark their silver jubilee while Sr. Geraldine Ortuoste of Cebu community, whose golden jubilee is on October 15 will join in today's celebration. Sr. Geraldine and Sr. Ma. Elena will hold the jubilee celebrations in Banawa Hills, Cebu City while Sr. Celeste Engutan will celebrate her silver jubilee in Quezon City.
The three sisters have originally planned to hold the celebrations in Cebu City.
Presider of the concelebrated Mass in Quezon City was Fr. Ron Bagley of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, while concelebrants were Fr. Serge Kabamalan CJM, Fr. Pierre Drouin CJM, provincial superior of the Eudists in North America, and Fr. Hartono Budi SJ, who was the homilist.
In Quezon City, two sisters, Sr. M. Rosario Battung and Sr. M. Victoria Joson, shared the joy of the occasion as both celebrated their feast day.
Last September 14, Sr. Mirianti Han of the Contemplatives in Buhing Yuta also marked her golden jubilee in Butuan City.
