Renewal of Vows held at the Good Shepherd Convent in Quezon City

Sr. Agatha Nguyen Thi Diem Thuy, a Good Shepherd temporary professed sister from Vietnam renewed her vows on Sunday, August 19 at the Good Shepherd Chapel in Quezon City.

Sr. Agatha is in the Philippines for English language studies. She also participated in the Clinico Pastoral Education (CPE).

Sr. Cecilia Torres, province leader of the Good Shepherd Sisters in the Philippines, accepted Sr. Agatha's vows on behalf of the East Asia province. Vietnam is among the four countries in East Asia Province, others are Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia. Province Leader of East Asia is Sr. Michelle Lopez.

Sr. Teresita Figueroa, directress of temporary professed sisters in the Philippines, accompanies temporary professed sisters from other countries who are in the Philippines for studies and international apostolic experience.

The Eucharistic Celebration was presided by Fr. Edwin of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC) and participated in by Good Shepherd from different communities, religious men and women and friends who regularly come for Sunday Mass.
