The cluster meeting of Visayas-Mindanao to prepare for the 2014 Province Chapter will be held August 26-27 in Villa Maria, Cebu City.
Expected to attend are apostolic and contemplative sister who opted for Modes 1 and 2 participation in the chapter.
The communities in the Visayas-Mindanao cluster are: Cebu Villa Maria Community, CGS Banawa, Reach Out Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Kalilid, Pagadian, Iligan and CGS Butuan.
Invited also during the cluster meetings are mission partners from the various communities.
Mode 1 is full participation, which include prayers, attendance in cluster meetings and preparation for the chapter, and participation in the chapter itself. Mode 2, prayers and participation in preparation for the chapter. Mode 3 is solely prayers.
The cluster meeting is aimed at engaging the cluster of communities in assessing the life of our Province through prayer and dialogue; providing opportunity for apostolic and contemplative sisters to look deeply into our respective way of life, to gain understanding and analysis of local and global realities as context of our life and mission, and to identify priorities and directives fo our province and congregation for the next six years.
Three cluster meetings were held in the National Capital Region; Cavite, Batangas, Baguio and Isabela; and Bicol.
After the cluster meetings, sisters will hold a Province Assembly to be facilitated by Fr. Fred Dulay MJ on November 13 and 14 in Quezon City. On November 12, a day before the assembly, sisters in Mode 1 will also meet in Quezon City.
The 10th Province Chapter is scheduled March 14-24 in Maryridge, Tagaytay City.
