A follow up workshop, “Empowering Filipino Artisans Out of Poverty (EFAP) was held at the Heart of Mary Villa conference hall from May 27-31. It is a joint program of Mission Development Office in Rome and the Philippine Province. 5 The workshop’s goal as part of the Economic Justice Projects was to improve the living conditions of Filipino Artisans engaged in Good Shepherd income generating projects. 5MDO consultants. Patrizia Scarzella and Valentina Downey of Italy, facilitated the Workshop for the Artisans of Alay Kapwa, Welcome House, Cebu, Center for Overseas Workers, Davao and Pinatubo. Several Good Shepherd Sisters also attended the second workshop. A remarkable improvement in the work of the artisans was noticed.
