MARTA announces SME Educational Assistance graduates and scholars

The Material Resources Team (MARTA) of the Philippine Province of the Good Shepherd announced on April 24 that 11 graduated from college this 2013, and 72 students have been given the St. Mary Euphrasia Educational Assistance for schoolyear 2013-2014.

Sr. Amelia David, province treasurer, said the 11 SME Educational Assistance grantees who finished their courses, come from the seven communities. The graduates are:

MARTA, composed of Srs. Mary Pilar Quemada, Marie Goretti Bool, M. Amelia David, M. Edna Fuentes, M. Susan Montano and M. Jeva Sumbillo, said the 72 students who will receive educational assistance for school year 2013-2014 were referred by the 20 communities in the Philippine Province.

The St. Mary Euphrasia Educational Assistance  has been formally launched in 1996, the Bicentennial of Birth of Sr.Mary Euphrasia.

MARTA is grateful to the various  communities for the continuous efforts to find ways to support the students. For the celebration of the Centennial of theGood Shepherd Sisters in the Philippines. communities worked hard to add to the educational assistance fund.
