OLCs visit the Philippines

Sr. Florence Kisilu, province leader of the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity (OLC) from Kenya and Sr. Maria Bertha Trifa De Souza, a Portuguese missionary, were in the Philippines recently.

Among those they visited were the two temporary professed OLCs who are in the country for their theological studies. Enrolled at the Institute of Formation and Religious Studies, Srs. Emiliana and Sr. Felister have been here since June. Earlier, the two students were in Thailand, for their exposure to the apostolate of the Good Shepherd Sisters in the country.

While in the Philippines, Sr. Florence and Sr. Triffa also visited Baguio, Tahanan, Maryridge, CGS Tagaytay, Bahay Pastulan and met the sisters in the communities at 1043 - Euphrasian Community, Heart of Mary Villa, St. Bridget School, Provincialate and GSC where they stayed while in Manila.

The visit has been a beautiful experience for both Good Shepherd Sisters and Sisters of Our Lady of Charity especially as we go through the Journey of Enrichment.
