Missionaries from the Philippines

Sr. M. Clemencia Flora who came back to the Philippines after many years as missionary to Ethiopia is now in Mozambique to join the community.

It was on March 13, 2012 that Sr. Clemencia returned to the country. She visited several communities and her family. While in the Philippines she was also asked to be a member of the community in Mozambique. This is not the first time that Sr. Clemencia will be in Mozambique. Before her mission to Ethiopia she was already in Mozambqiue as one of the foundresses of the community.

While in the Philippines she also had the occasion to celebrate with the Philippine Province the centennial of Good Shepherd Sisters' presence this 2012. She has also been invited to give sharing on missionary experience at at the Maria Droste Infirmacy of Good Shepherd Community.

She left for Mozambique on July 15 and is grateful for this opportunity to be of service to the people in Africa.

Meanwhile, Sr.Elena Jalop, a contemplative missionary, returned to the Philippines after seven years as member of tje community inInnsbruck in the Province of Austria-Switzerland-Czech Republic.

Sr. Brigid Lawlor wrote that she is grateful for the years that Sr. Elena served as missionary to Innsbruck. Sr. Elena has been assigned by Sr. M. Ceclia Torres to be a member of the Contemplative community in Tagaytay.
