Devotees of Mother of the Eucharist and Grace gathered at the Good Shepherd Chapel in Quezon City for novena prayers to Our Lady, Masses and healing that started September 20 and will conclude September 29, 2011.

Since 2008, when the bigger Good Shepherd Chapel was inaugurated and could accommodate more people, the spiritual activities were held at the Good Shepherd Convent. Before that, these celebrations were held at the adjacent St. Bridget School gym or auditorium.
This is the 20th year of the devotion to Mother of the Eucharist and Grace who first appeared to visionary Carmelo Cortes on August 15, 1991, in the San Francisco del Monte, Quezon City residence of his sister Puring Fruto, who later on had visions of Our Lady. Our Lady appeared holding a scapular and a rosary and the Holy Eucharist nestled on her exposed heart. Mary's message centers on the Eucharist, faithful observance of the Mass, love and charity, humility, repentance, and love for the sacrament of confession. Signs and miracles include the gift of rose-scented oils, holy images on rose petals, and transformation of rose petals to host-shaped wafers. Numerous healings and conversions accompany the on-going apparitions of Our Lady.
The Mother of the Eucharist and Grace Prayer Community is headed by couple Rudy Fruto and Puring Fruto. Its spiritual adviser is Fr. Jimmy Giron OFM and formation head is Sr. Cora Demetillo RGS.

On September 28, feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz and Companion Martyrs, Msgr. Sabino Vengco, of the Diocese of Malolos and professor at the Loyola School of Theology, emphasized that the lives of the devotees will be the proof that would validate the apparition of Mother of the Eucharist and Grace.
On September 29, Bishop Teodoro Bacani will be the presider of the Eucharistic Celebration at 6 p.m. After the Mass, devotees of Mother of the Eucharist and Grace will go on motorcade to San Francisco del Monte, residence of Rudy and Puring Fruto.
