The Philippine Province of the Good Shepherd organizes a Mid-Level Management Taining-Workshop for Good Shepherd Sisters and mission partners June 25-29 at the Rosary Hall, Good Shepherd Convent in Quezon City.
Sr. Ananita Borbon of the Province Leadership Team said the training workshop is being held in coordination with the Research and Extension Development Office (REDO) of the College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) of the University of the Philippines.

Participants are 27 representatives from the different Good Shepherd communities in the country --Cebu, SBS-Buhi, Maryridge, Baguio, SBC-Batangas, Provincialate, Legazpi, Naga, Tahanan, Isabela, GSC, Alitagtag, Bukid Kabataan, Davao, Euphrasian Community, Heart of Mary Villa and the Center for Overseas Workers.
The management training program is a practitioner-oriented program designed to enhance the management skills of the mid-level mangers of the different social development apostolate agencies and programs of the Religious of the Good Shepherd. Throughout the course, the participants will have the opportunity to discuss pertinent leadership, organizational and progrmmatic issues, and to analyze and to find the best practices and tools for organizational diagnosis, governance, leadership excellence, strategic management, management of functional sills in the areas of human resource mamangement, financial management, program and project management, as it related to the implementation of the congregation's social apostolate thrust.
