“Keys to Understanding Islamic Faith <br>and Christian Faith Together”

"Keys to Understanding Islamic Faith and Christian Faith Together" will be the topic of the 2012 Centennial Celebration lecture that will be held at the Rosary Hall, Good Shepherd Community on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 2-5 p.m.

Fr. François Jourdan CJM, (Congregation of Jesus and Mary) or Eudist will be the speaker of the lecture. Fr. François  has a Doctorate in Theology and Islamology from the Catholic Institute-Sorbonne, in France. He has been in the Philippines since 2009 and is a member of the AVE COR community in Tagaytay. He will go back to France this June and will assume his post as the newly-appointed, Director of the Department of Religious of the Catholic Institute-Toulouse.

Sr. Patricia Perez RGS of the RGS Philippine Province's Continuing Formation said the topic is a relevant one and is congruent with the 29th Congregational Chapter.  Held from June-July 2009, the Congregational Chapter encourages the members of the Good Shepherd congregation to promote and engage in interfaith dialogue.
