The Association of Major Religious Superiors in the
Philippines (AMRSP) enjoins religious men and women in the Philippines to unite
ourselves in prayer for the end of the pandemic and for all those who are
affected by it.
Entitled “Healing Rosary for the World,” will be broadcast live on Wednesday, May 6, 2020
at 09:00 PM, via the AMRSP Facebook page as well as the platforms of our media
partners, so that those who have access to stable internet connection will be
able to tune in and join in prayer using common texts, reflections, and music.
The decades of the rosaries will be recited and led by the congregations in the
different national shrines of Our Lady: The National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes
by the OFM Capuchins, the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel by the
Discalced Fathers, the National Shrine
of Mary Help of Christians by the Salesians
of Don Bosco, the National Shrine of Mother of Perpetual Help by the Redemptorist
Fathers and the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of La Naval by the
Dominican Fathers.
To give short reflections on the Glorious Mysteries
are: 1st Mystery-Fr. Leonardo M. Cabrera MSC, Provincial Superior of the
Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes), 2nd Mystery-
Sr. M Regina Kuizon RGS, Province Leader, Religious of the Good Shepherd
(Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel), 3rd Mystery -Sr Niceta Vargas, OSA,
Superior General of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation (Shrine
of Mary Help of Christians), 4th Mystery- Fr. Daniel Franklin E. Pilario, CM,
Dean, Saint Vincent School of Theology, Congregation of the Mission (National
Shrine of Mother of Perpetual Help) and 5th Mystery- Fr. Jose Quilongquilong
SJ, Rector, Jesuit Residence, Ateneo de Manila University, Society of Jesus
(Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of La Naval).
