The Continuing Formation Team of the Good Shepherd Sisters is inviting Good shepherd sisters and mission partners so a “Forging Hope” Centennial Lenten Conference, ““In Between Memory and Hope, ” on Friday March 8, 2013, 9:30 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. at the Rosary Hall, Good Shepherd Community in Quezon City.
The session, about remembering the promise of Vatican II and rediscovering hope in the New Evangelization, will be presented by Fr. Wilfredo Dulay of the Missionaries of Jesus (MJ).
This Lenten conference wants to celebrate the dangerous memory of the Second Vatican Council by attempting to rekindle the hope in the hearts of the faithful for a new church model mirroring faithfully what God’s ultimate Prophet began in Galilee some two thousand years ago.
Notwithstanding the ambivalence that so far characterized the hierarchy’s
efforts to commemorate the 50th year of Vatican II, the challenges posed by the New Evangelization that Benedict XVI inaugurated could open up avenues of renewed creativity for the modern followers of the Crucified and Risen Lord.
RSVP Continuing Formation
