South Korea for two novices preparing for
their First Profession of Vows.

Novices
Sr. Mary  Victoria Au and Sr. Mary Imelda
Li from

Kong
are
in
South Korea for their second year novitiate.
During their canonical year or first year of novitiate, 2007-2008, the two
sisters were in the
Philippines for formation with Sr. Tess, who,
at the time, was novice directress. Sr. Tess has been invited by Sr. Johanna
Maria Yong, province leader, and Sr. Melania Jung, novice directress, of
Northeast Asia, to facilitate  the retreat this January.

The
ceremonies for the  First Profession of
Vows of Srs. Mary Victoria and Sr. Mary Imelda will be held on January 13 at
2 p.m. in Chunchun City in South Korea.

It will
be recalled that
Hong Kong used to be part of the District of China. The restructuring in the
congregation and the consultation with the sisters resulted in the creation of  the Province of Northeast Asia composed of the
communities in Hongkong,
Macau, Taiwan and South Korea. South Korea used to belong to the Province of East Asia which is now composed of the
countries of
Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia. (RK)
