Several of our Filipina overseas missionaries are in town for good or for vacation.
Sr. M. Angela Battung arrived from the Province of Canada last June 2 after 44 years as missionary, first to South Korea and later to Canada.
Sr. M. John Dumaug arrived also in June for home visit. She has been in Sudan helping in the projects of the community since July 2010.
Sr. M. Celeste Yuzon was in Manila in May for her annual retreat.
Sr, Fe de Paz of the international community of contemplatives for Africa that started to live together in Angola and transferred early this year to Kenya is also in the country for her homevisit.
Sr. Elena Jalop who arrived in July 2012 from her mission in Innsbruck is now mssioned in the Contemplative community in Cebu while and Sr. M. Tarcila Abano who came for the Centennial celebration after nine years at the Spirituality Center in Angers, France is now assigned at the Good Shepherd Community in Quezon City.

Garciano and Sr. Magdalena Oliva are now members of the contemplative community in Mid-North America.
Other missionaries who arrived recently are Sr. Mercy de Leon and Sr. Bernard Derayunan who are missioned in the Province of Mid North America. Sr. Bernard has returned to the Philippines after many years as a missionary. She is currently assigned in Reach-Out Davao.
There are at present 30 Filipina missionaries in the provinces of Northeast Asia, East Asia, Mozambique, West Africa (Senegal-Burkina Faso), Mid North America, Congo-Kenya, Egypt-Sudan, Canada, Japan and Rome-Italy.
