The Ministry Office in coordination with the Mission Development Office (MDO) in Rome sponsored a program entitled “Empowering Filipino Artisans Out of Poverty” (EFAP) for four Economic Justice Projects with a goal of improving the living conditions of Filipino Artisans engaged in Good Shepherd income generating projects.
MDO consultants, Valentina and Patrizia of Italy gave the First Training Workshop for the Artisans of Alay Kapwa, Welcome House-Cebu, Center for Overseas Workers-Davao and Pinatubo from February 11-15 at the Heart of Mary Villa Conference Hall.
Good Shepherd Sisters in the 1043 compound also joined the workshop.
Sr. M. Ailyn Binco and Sr. M. Ananita Borbon coordinated the activities.
The next two workshops are scheduled in May and August 2013.
