Earth Hour on March 29, 8:30-9:30 p.m.

Join the Global Earth Hour
on Saturday, March 29, 8:30 - 9:30 pm.

Earth Hour is a worldwide grassroots
movement uniting people to protect the planet, and is organised by WWF.
Engaging a massive mainstream community on a broad range of environmental
issues, Earth Hour was famously started as a lights-off event in Sydney,
Australia in 2007. Since then it has grown to engage more than 7000 cities and
towns worldwide, and the one-hour event continues to remain the key driver of
the now larger movement.

The event is held worldwide towards the end of March annually,
encouraging individuals, communities households and businesses to turn off
their non-essential lights for one hour as a symbol for their commitment to the
planet. Earth Hour 2015 will take place on Saturday, 29 of March at 8:30PM to
9:30PM in your local timezone.

At the Good Shepherd Convent in Quezon City, the Sisters will gather at the Good Shepherd Chapel and pray before the Blessed Sacrament. The Good Shepherd Sisters promote the thrust of Women, Justice, Peaced and Integrity of Creation.

Luis Antonio
Cardinal Tagle called on the people to join the global event. He said:

Mga kapanalig ako
po si Cardinal Chito Tagle ng Archdiocese of Manila. Inaanyayahan at hinihimok
