"The Gift of Years: Growing Older Gracefully," a session to be conducted by Ma. Teresa Gustilo Villasor PhD, will be held at Maryridge Tagaytay City from October 24-25.
Sr. Patricia Perez of the Continuing Formation Team said that the session is for sisters 50 years and above. In the invitation that Sr. Patricia distributed to communities, she quoted, "Stereotypes about aging have lad many to assume that they will literally be over the hill with nothing to look forward to once they pass the retirement age. Psychologist Carl Jung suggests that aging is a period of continued expansion and growth where we connect with something bigger than ourselves."
Sisters 50 years and above are encouraged to attend to look at the 'capstone years as the time in which again, a whole new life is in the making."

Held at the Rosary Hall in Quezon City on October 5, the session was participated in by sisters, mission partners including faculty members of St. Bridget College in Batangas.
The Door of Faith is always open for us, ushering us into the life of communion with God and the Chruch. This Year of Faith is a journey of rediscovery so as to shed clearer light on a renewed enthusiasm of encounter wiht Christ. A session that revisited the 2010 Journey of Enrichment session in Angers, France that paved the way for greater knowledge and understanding of the life of Good Shepherd Sisters and Sisters of Our Lady of Charity. A story telling to help us participate fully in the Theological Reflection Process regarding the "request made by the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity to merge with our congregation. It is a historical moment in the congregation.
Abolish Pork Barrel

Nationwide ringing of bells, chimes, gongs to be in solidarity with the poor and to demand to abolish the Pork Barrel. It is a call to transparency and accountability, to end corruption in goverment. Good Shepherd sisters in different communities participated.
