Sisters, friends, families and benefactors worked together to gather goods to help the victims of the typhoon in Isabela and some parts of the country. The Social Action Center of St. Scholastica College in Manila were generous in sharing with the victims and their families.
Filipina missionaries sent donation for distribution to the victims. Sr. Christina Sevilla, who returned last year after being missionary to the US, also received from the Filipino immigrants in California, donations for the various communities helping the poor. Clothing, rice, canned goods and other food items were distributed to the victims.
There were emails and messages and promises of prayers of solidarity from friends worldwide who offered prayers.
The many blessings continue to come.
