Good Shepherd Sisters- apostolic and contemplative-- participated in the annual retreat held August 26-31 at the HMV Hall, Good Shepherd Convent in Quezon City.
The 55 sisters come from the different communities in the Province of Philippines-Japan-- Good Shepherd Baguio, Maryridge-Tagaytay, Bukid Kabataan in General Trias, St. Bridget College Batangas, St. Bridget College Alitagtag, Good Shepherd Home Naga, Villa Maria Cebu, RGS Kalilid in San Luis Agusan del Sur, Enzan in Japan, Welcome House- Tahanan in Paco/Sta. Ane, Provincialate, Good Shepherd Community, Euphrasian Community, Heart of Mary Villa and St. Bridget School -Quezon City.
Facilitator of the retreat was Fr. Robert Manansala OFM who shared on the theme, "A Renewed Call to Holiness, Communion and Mission in the Spirit of the Good Shepherd."
Sr. Susan Montano RGS, of the Province Leadership Team and who is incharge of Formation said Fr. Manansala has also agreed to conduct a retreat in Cebu.
The Religious of the Good Shepherd has its thrust on Women, Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation WJPIC. They participate in God's mission of bringing mercy and compassion to the least, the lost and the last.
