The first Irish  Good Shepherd missionaries came to the Philippines on October 4, 1912 upon the invitation of Monsignor Joseph Petrelli, archbishop of Lipa. The community was under the Motherhouse in Angers, France and so were the other foundations and later communities in the Philippines became part of the Los Angeles province.

On December 3, 1960, the Philippines was established as a province.

This is the time

To Return
A Time of Remembering and Thanksgiving, the gift of each other, the labor and blessings of Good Shepherd Mission

To Recall
A Time to share our stories of our journey of Shepherding in an experiential way

To Rest
Time to be with each other, to have conversations as we embrace and reconcile

To Reclaim
Our being one as Apostolic and Contemplative Good Shepherd, a time to build relationships, to integrate as we call forth each other in transformation to be whole and holy

To Release
A Time to enable each other to be a life-giving  presence of compassion and
reconciliation, the sign of our commitment and solidarity as Shepherds of today.
